Patrick Abbate is guitarist with an international career. In 2005 he released his instrumental solo album "Tutto quello che ho da dirti" (Everything I have to tell you) that brought him to have many tour around the world and several endorsements with some of the main musical instruments companies in the world. He has tour worldwide with many bands and international artists as Kee Marcello of Europe (Kee Marcello and Patrick Abbate Band), Megan McCauley (Windup Records Artist), Irene Nelson (Leader of the band Reflex with 5Golden Discs and 3 Grammy Awards in Russia), Willie Basse's Black Sheep (historic band from Hollywood where artists as Paul Gilbert, Slash, George Lynch, James Kottak and more, were official members). Now he lives in Los Angeles and in 2012 is going to release his new double instrumental album. Patrick plays almost every style but he is more recognized for his rock playing where he mixes sound, feel and melodies old school with the more modern extreme shredding licks. In his Techra PA signature you can find all his musical experience concentrated in one instrument!
Patrick Abbate é un chitarrista Italiano di fama internazionale. Diversi anni fa ha pubblicato il suo disco solista "Tutto quello che ho da dirti" grazie al quale ha fatto diversi tour internazionali e ricevuto diversi endorsements da alcune delle aziende piú grosse al mondo per produzione di strumenti musicali. Ha lavorato in giro per il mondo con diverse bands e artisti di fama mondiale quali Kee Marcello degli Europe (Kee Marcello & Patrick Abbate Band), Megan McCauley (Windup Records Artist), Irene Nelson, leader della band Reflex (5Golden Discs e 3 Grammy Awards in Russia), Willie Basse's Black Sheep (Band storica di Los Angeles che in passato ha avuto membri come Paul Gilbert, Slash, George Lynch, James Kottak e altri). Ruggero Robin was born in Padova (Italy) on 29th april 1962. Guitarist of an excellent communicative technique, he has very soon acquired a wide music culture, the guitar of Ruggero Robin is present in over 60 million cd sold all over the world having participated in very important productions performing on an international basis, with artists such as: Zucchero Fornaciari, Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Paul Young, B.B. King, Dolores O’Riordan, Giorgia, Nomadi, Riccardo Fogli and many others great artist as: Bruce Gaitsch, Janey Clewer, Joe Diorio, Trilok Gurtu, Enzo Todesco, Alex Acuña, Oskar Cartaya, Marc Jordan, John Patitucci, Steve Gadd, Marc Quinones, Richie Gajate García, Giulio Capiozzo, Flavio Boltro, Robert Bonisolo, Frank Tontoh, George Acogny, Thoss Panos and other great artists
2005. Tour in Japan with his "Jazz Trio" together with the Italian orchestra of Neapolitan music directed by the conductor Sandro Cuturello, playing in the prestigious Japanese theaters.
2004. He collaborates to the realization of the new album of ZUCCHERO FORNACIARI, ZU&CO. Andrea Bocelli, Luciano Pavarotti, Paul Young, B.B. King, Dolores O’Riordan.
He composes and produces the two new unpublished songs of the last album "Storie d'Amore" of Riccardo Fogli, "Please Love" and "Tu non sei più mia". The disk has gone out in the month of June 2004 with the executive production of Antonio Colombi for the record label Nar International S.r.l. and distributed by the Edel.
He has realized the production of the single Cd of the emergent artist Eugenio Mori with the Pulsar Record from the title "L'insegnante di matematica". The Cd include three songs, plus the video of the song that give the title to the work. The disk has gone out in the month of October 2004.
2003. He finishes the great work on his latest album: "Everyday magic"; the following artists take part to the realization of the album: Bruce Gaitsch, Janey Clewer, Marc Jordan, John Patitucci, Paulinho Da Costa, Maurice Ravalico and the Big Philharmonic Orchestra.
2002. Ruggero Robin, in collaboration with Bruce Gaitsch, plays in "Guitar For Freedom II", a double CD compilation with the greatest guitarists of the world: Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Andy Summers, Carlos Santana, Mick Ronson, Steve Luckater and many others. This compilation has been produced for the families of the victims of September 11th.
He collaborates and plays with numerous light music artists, such as: Zucchero, Andrea Bocelli, Giorgia, Nomadi, Stragà, Bobby Solo, Riccardo Fogli and lots of other young talents belonging to the international "pop" scene.
He begins the recordings of his latest album: "Everyday magic"; an international production, in collaboration with Frantic Studios in Nashville (USA), Umbi studios in Rovigo (Italy) and Bat Cave Studios.
2001. He opens his own recording studio: "Bat Cave Studios" ad continues to cooperate to numerous international productions as arranger, producer and composer.
He receives, at "Rimini live festival", the prize of the Resto del Carlino for the effort shown in the promotion of young artists.
He arranges and produces, together with Roby Facini, "Storie di tutti i giorni" for Riccardo Fogli; the song has been created in an inedit version for the Latin-American market.
2000. He produces and arranges the band Sinergia winning the Telegatto of TV Sorrisi e Canzoni at Sanremo Rock festival, on Rai 1.
He is arranger and producer of Federico Stragà, he produces the famous song "L'astronauta" in acoustic version for Studio Lead, distribuited by Sony Music.
He writes the songs "Dove sei" and "Certo che puoi", of the album "Liberi di volare" of Nomadi (140.000 copies sold).
1999. He plays with his Trio in the most famous clubs in London, with great success.
1998. He arranges and writes "Ti lascio una parola goodbye" with Diego Pigozzo for Nomadi, entering the "hit-list" and obtaning the “platinum record” (200.000 copies sold).
1997. He records the album "Viceversa" for Prestige Jazz.
1995. He takes part as guitarist to the production of Andrea Bocelli's albums: "Andrea Bocelli" and "Romanza ", which sold 40 millions copies.
1994. He wins the "A.W.F. Competition" (Artist Without Frontiers) as best guitarist, obtaning a reward from the Master School of G.I.T. in Hollywood.
He records in Los Angeles his second CD: "Big One", Prestige Jazz; with Alex Acuna (Weather Report), Oskar Cartaya (Spyro Gyra), Marc Quinones (Tito Puente), Giulio Capiozzo (Area), Enzo Todesco (Gino Vannelli) and other big artists. Approximately 20.000 copies sold.
He wins the CEE Schoolarship for Arrangers and gets the first C.E.T. diploma, in Mogol's school.
He’s the winner of Leffe Music Festival at Rolling Stone in Milan (Videomusic). Ruggero Robin and his band accompained the singer Giorgia in the promotional TV video. (Jammin' Italia 1, Roxy Bar Videomusic).
1993. Album "Guitar Atmosphere", Pentaflowers Jazz; a new CD of acustic guitar, which has obtained lots of positive critics from various specialized magazines.

Chris Thompson was born in the United Kingdom, and raised in New Zealand. He became a professional musician in 1971, and moved back to England in 1973. He joined Manfred Mann's Earth Band in 1974. Since becoming a member of the band, Chris has sung on international hits such as Blinded By The Light, which reached No.1 in the U.S. and all around the world. The Earth Band spent from 1975-77 extensively touring America and Europe. In 1978 they released Watch, which featured Chris Thompson. The song Davy's On The Road Again reached the Top 5 in England and Germany. Watch has sold over 700,000 copies in Germany alone.
In 1979, Chris left The Earth Band to form "Night" a Los Angeles-based band, who enjoyed two Top 20 hits, "Hot Summer Nights" and "If You Remember Me", which was the title theme from the movie "The Champ". The group broke up in 1982 and Chris (who had still been doing session work with the Earth Band on a semi-regular basis), rejoined Manfred to finish the album Somewhere in Africa. After a successful European tour with The Earth Band to promote this album, Chris and drummer John Lingwood, produced a live album and video from Budapest, Hungary called Live in Budapest. Manfred Mann's Earth Band was the first western rock band to work in Budapest.
In 1983 Chris released his first solo album, Out Of The Night. He also worked extensively with ex Doobie Brother Patrick Simmons, both writing and singing on Patrick's solo album Arcade, which produced the Top 20 hit So Wrong. In 1984 Manfred Mann's Earth Band had a Top 20 hit with The Runner on Arista Records.
Chris's second solo album, Radio Voices, featured Brian May and was released in 1985. Later he worked with Manfred Mann on Criminal Tango, and began working on another solo album The High Cost Of Living, which was released in 1986. It's Not Over, a song from this album featured in the film Playing For Keeps.In 1989, the Wimbledon Tennis Championship brought about another success for Chris when he wrote and performed the official championship song The Challenge which became No.1 hit in Germany.
Another solo album, Beat of Love, was released in 1991. That same year, he had a Top Ten hit in Germany with The Joker, theme song from the television series Jolly Joker.
In 1992 Chris was extensively involved in the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert held at Wembley Stadium. He was responsible for rehearsing the band and all the artists that appeared : Annie Lennox, Roger Daltrey, Robert Plant, Paul Young, David Bowie, Lisa Stanfield, Seal, Elton John, Liza Minelli and George Michael. He was also in charge of additional vocals on the day. The following year Chris worked with Brian May on his first solo tour in South America.
In 1993 he made his debut with Alan Parsons on the album Try Anything Once. This was followed a few months later with an extensive tour in the U.S. This same year, Chris also performed at the charity concert for Children Under Siege in Los Angeles. In 1984 Chris sang the theme from the successful German TV series Florida Lady. This series also gave birth to a brand new recording of Blinded By The Light. The 1995 Alan Parsons album The Very Best Live, features Chris Thompson, and the U.S. release includes a studio version of Chris performing You're The Voice (which he also performed as the finale of the World Liberty Concert in Holland in front of 120,000 people). This concert also featured Joe Cocker and UB 40.
In 1996 Chris completed a new Manfred Mann's Earth Band album entitled Soft Vengeance. The summer of that year saw a five month European tour to promote the album. In 1997, Chris worked with Spike Edney on the first SAS Band album.
The SAS Band in it's first two years of existence, has featured many great artists including
Chaka Khan, Paul Rogers, Brian May, Mica Paris, Fish, Roger Chapman, Roger Taylor, Graham Gouldman, Curtis Stigers, Paul Young, Tony Hadley, Kiki Dee, Steve Lukather & John Deacon.
In 2000, Chris has signed an exclusive world-wide songwriters deal with Notting Hill Music in London. Notting Hill Music Inc. has also acquired the administration rights for the United States for Chris's back catalogue - CT Music Ltd. The CT catalogue includes his world-wide hit song 'You're the Voice' together with the songs Chris wrote for The Doobie Brothers, Michael Mc Donald, Heart, Isaac Hayes, Ray Charles and many more. Chris's new home at Notting Hill Music London finds him in great company. They publish, among many others Will Smith, Paul Weller, Sir George Martin and Lisa Lopez (TLC). The early 2000's should be a fruitful songwritng time for Chris !!!!
