A self-described rock/funk/pop influenced drummer. CC believes, listening to and borrowing from many styles of music from Pink, Papa Roach, Red Hot Chili Peppers to Sevendust has helped him to develop a style that pushes straight forward and is rock steady.
A Boston native currently living in Southern California he played my first live show at the age of 15 and recorded his first studio time a few years later when his band “Aftermath” was chosen to be on a CD of "the best" unsigned bands in New England.
Before moving to California CC studied music recording in Florida where he got into triggering acoustic drums and looping and sampling due to working with a R&B, Hip Hop musicians and producers. Eventually he found my way back to Boston where I played with many great Boston bands.
One such band was "Xplicit" a funk rock band which was chosen by Lexicon/Harman as an up and coming unsigned band and given a 1 album deal which was used to record "Sex and Violence" the bands second cd.
Also he had the opportunity to support "The Kickbacks" on their "Blindside View" tour and worked on their follow up release "Motel Stars", before moving out to the West Coast in 2005.
Currently CC is living in Orange County California and touring with the 70's 80's classic rock tribute band "White Trash a Go Go" which includes veteran musicians Scott Earl (Culprit, The Bang Gang), Patrick Abate (Italian guitar virtuoso, Willie Basse band) Andrew Freeman (Lynch Mob, Off Spring, Hurricane). CC is endorsed by Techra drum sticks and also uses DDrum triggers and Sabian cymbals exclusively. |
